Ten stations, ten difficulty levels — one through ten, each used exactly once. The mapping is shuffled before every race and revealed only on arrival at each station. Total difficulty is identical for every athlete. What differs is whether you can handle not knowing where the weight will land.

CapRac's first race is being built and tested at the University of Cambridge — a population fluent in exactly the tools this format is a response to, and a research environment built to measure what changes when people train for it.
CapRac comes out of Shriya's research into relational computing — how technology and human relationships shape each other — combined with a competitive athletic background (archery, fencing) and years spent building products at the intersection of memory, connection, and human capacity. CapRac is the physical, competitive expression of a question she's spent years researching: not whether AI is powerful, but what it's quietly costing the humans who rely on it.
